We discussed sponsoring Mukti next March 23-24. Eileen Muir has offered her studio in Noho. There was some preference for having it in Amherst, and Mark will look into Grace Episcopal and the Lutheran church, but the group was open to letting it be in Noho if neither of those places work out.
Dvora has asked to step down as treasurer. We reviewed what the treasurer does. Kevin volunteered to replace her.
Loch Kelly—should we ask him to come in the fall? Mark is not available in Oct. and only one Saturday in November. February would be better. Mark will contact Loch.
Fundraising Letter to go out in Oct. or Nov. Jim volunteered to write it this year.
Social gatherings:
• Starting off the fall—bonfire at Jim’s home on Saturday, Sept. 12. 6:30 potluck. Jim to send Mark directions to publicize event
• Movie ngiht—Mark will check with Olivia to see if she will host and what nights work for her in October and November. Dharma Brother is now available.
• Holiday gathering, Enlighten the Darkness—at Mark’s on December 12, 6:30 potluck. Will need to have people bring folding chairs.
Next meeting scheduled October 14, 7:30 at Jo’s.
